We. are. community.
When our organization established itself in 2017, we quickly realized how fortunate we were to have the support of local businesses and our community rally behind our vision. With so much support, we made it our mission to give right back to that very same community. Each year all our Southside Crew players, coaches and families identify ways to give back to our local community. While teaching the game of baseball and winning ball games is what we strive to do, molding fine young boys and girls and teaching them the importance of giving back is what we are all about. Check out some of the amazing things our organization has done in the past 4 years.
November 20th, 2020
12u boys hold a run-a-thon and raise $1000 during the month of October for our buddy Zach who is battling cancer.

August 2019
Our 10u boys went up to CHKD and celebrated the completion of their reading program entitled "Reach Out and Read". Our 'Crew boys and some of their siblings had a blast celebrating the kids amazing achievements in this summer program. The look on the CHKD kids faces as our players read to them will be a memory to last a lifetime. Such an amazing experience for everyone.

Boys Pass Out Thanksgiving Meals at Oscar Smith Middle School
150 turkeys! The boys from all our Crew teams met at Oscar Smith Middle School and passed out turkeys and sides to the local community. This was our first of a many "Crew Cares" events planned for this 2019 Holiday Season. Teaching our kids at a young age the importance of giving back to your community whether it be financially, time or lending a hand is important. After all, our platform is supported greatly by local Hampton Roads businesses, so anything we can do to help is a simple way of saying thank you.
